Expanded PTFE Sheet is made from 100% virgin PTFE with biaxially oriented, and more strength than PTFE joint sealant. It is white color, peak temperature 310°C.

Expanded PTFE (ePTFE) Sheets are manufactured from 100% virgin PTFE through a proprietary biaxial expansion process that creates a microporous structure with significantly enhanced mechanical properties compared to conventional PTFE sheets. This expansion process orients the PTFE molecules in multiple directions, resulting in higher tensile strength, improved conformability, and superior sealing performance.

ePTFE sheets offer a unique combination of properties: they are soft and conformable enough to seal against damaged, corroded, or irregular flange surfaces, while maintaining the chemical inertness and temperature resistance of standard PTFE. The material compresses easily under bolt load, creating a tight seal even with low bolt torque - reducing the risk of flange damage and simplifying installation.

With a peak temperature rating of 310°C and compressive strength of ≥140MPa, Expanded PTFE Sheets are the superior gasket material for critical sealing applications in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and power generation. They conform to FDA requirements for food and pharmaceutical applications.
